La reforma busca la generación de un egresado profesional en Diseño Visual más autónomo, reflexivo, con capacidades proyectuales, investigativas y de gestión y administración en Diseño.Įl Diseño Visual comunica informaciones, hechos, valores e ideas para la sociedad, en un proceso donde intervienen factores socioculturales, perceptivos, estéticos, tecnológicos y ambientales, entre otros, a partir de los cuales se ha especializado cada vez más en el campo específico de la formación.
La Fundación Universitaria Bellas Artes, consciente de esta realidad, evalúa sus procesos académicos actuales y en consecuencia decide reformar su modelo pedagógico y metodológico en sus programas de pregrado en la búsqueda de unidad entre ellos con miras a la implementación de una metodología por competencias que permita cimentar un Proyecto Educativo Institucional más moderno, activo e integrador y que permita una mayor flexibilidad en el trabajo autónomo del estudiante apoyado en las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación.
